Our Expert Team Ensures Patient Safety and Comfort
Each member of our expert team is CPR certified and aims to provide the finest care possible at our offices in Land O' Lakes, South Tampa, Wesley Chapel and Valrico. The friendly surgical coordinators at Advanced Oral Surgery of Tampa are experienced in several areas and certified to assist in the administration of sedation and surgery.
Our patient care extends to all parts of your visit. Our informed administrative personnel is incredibly knowledgeable in health and insurance policies in order to help patients take full advantage of their benefits. Dr. Gaus is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon who proudly served in the US Air Force from 2012 to 2023. While he practices the full scope of oral surgery, he is particularly passionate about orthognathic surgery, full arch reconstruction, pediatric sedation, bone grafting and tooth replacement with dental implants.
Dr. Gaus is an active member of American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and the American Dental Association.

Anyone who feels uneasy going to an Oral Surgeon, look no further I felt so safe, comfortable and everyone was so eager to answer any questions. I had my two kids take out their teeth and I had a tooth extraction and bone graft, which everything worked out. Most importantly they go over all the costs and work with the insurance, there are no surprises as to what is expected from you cost. Do you have a knocked out tooth? We may be able to save it through a tooth transplant. Bring the tooth with you to our office, but preserve it by keeping it moist and avoiding contact with the root.
